I have no idea why this light appeals to me but it does. I want one. I see it on ads and I keep thinking "what would I use that for?" and nothing comes to mind except for reading in the dark, which, I don't obviously do. I have a light for that.
Anyhow, this one's a gadget for the sake of being a gadget. I know that someone out there will find a use for it. Maybe you travel more than me and you need it on the plane to avoid bothering others that are sitting near you. Or, maybe explore caves (now that I've done and this would work for that...), backpack, camp or you are an astronomy buff. Either way, I just know if I had one of these I'd find a use for it.
It only weighs in at 18 grams and you can leave it on for up to 36 hours. It uses both a white and green light so that it can fit into most any situation. You can place this on either your right or left ear, comfortably. Come to think of it...it could come in handy when I hear that next bear outside my tent while camping. I'm not sure if I want to call attention to myself though.

I have one of these, and, being 16, I have to say it’s quite handy when it’s time for bed but I would really rather read for a while. Just pretend like you’re going to bed, close the door, and turn it on. Unlike my other reading light, the light from this little thing can’t be seen under the door, making it harder to get caught by bedtime-enforcing parents at 11 o’clock, but still giving enough light to read by. I love mine.
