Who doesn’t want to have this gadget when you are on the go? Technology can be so useful, and now you have all your workouts right on your mobile device.

In this Sweat with Kayla App Review I will highlight mostly what is most exciting about this app, and what to expect when or if you decide it’s your time to get on board with Kayla Itsines BBG workout program.

Only on this fitness app will you be able to get a look at the newest workout training guide Kayla Itsines has created called, BBG 3.0. Yep, that’s right. You get a whole new training guide when you decide to download and subscribe to Kayla Itsines sweat with Kayla app.

For those who does not know what BBG stands for, it means Bikini Body Guide. Right now, she has two of these guides (BBG 1.0 and BBG 2.0) along with a nutritional plan called Bikini Body H.E.L.P Diet Guide available as e-books in a .pdf downloadable file, which you can get here at a discounted price. These guides are also available with the app.

The Sweat with Kayla App has many features including a place you can store your photos. You will also find a daily menu, and a grocery list to shop from. The foods featured in the app are the same as the recipes listed in Kayla Itsines H.E.L.P diet guide.

You should know that this App is not free. You do have to pay a subscription fee, which is $19.99 a month, with a minimum of a three-month subscription, which you have to pay upfront. There is a free 7-day trial, but you will still be charged the three-month subscription of $59.97. If you decide to cancel within those seven days, they will refund the money. This can be a big downfall, as I’m sure not everyone can afford to spend so much on a training guide app.

Still, this app can come in handy and you have to remember this app by Kayla Itsines has the exclusive BBG 3.0 workout training guide, which you will not find in an e-book form. At least, as of right now anyways.

When you first get the app, you get to choose which week you start on. If you have not used the Bikini Body Guide before, then you should start on week one, but for those already in the program, choose which week you are on and go from there.

The workouts consist of three major training exercises which help target specific areas to get your body in “bikini body shape”, which I have named below:

  • Resistance training
  • LISS (Low Intensity Steady State) cardio training
  • HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)
  • Rehabilitation Recovery

Let me break down what these mean for you:

  • Resistance training- Resistance training is a form of exercise that improves your muscular strength and your endurance. During this workout, you move your limbs against resistance, from your body weight and other fitness equipment such as barbells and dumbbells.
  • LISS Cardio Training- As I mentioned, LISS stands for Low Intensity Steady State. This Cardio training exercise is not as hardcore as resistance training. It’s basically as it says; “Low intensity”. This is to give your body time to recover and therefore helps prevent injuries.
  • HIIT- HIIT, Or High Intensity Interval Training, is just as it says. It’s a high intensity workout with focuses on quick bursts of cardio, with a rest period that follows.
  • Rehabilitation Recovery- Rehabilitation recovery is a cool down period of stretches. You can choose from your upper, lower, or full body.

With the Sweat with Kayla App, there is one more exciting feature for those who are looking to push themselves just a little bit further. Within this app, there is an option for a bonus challenge. It features a workout for you to challenge yourself with.

If you are a woman on the constant go, and don’t always have access to your computer this App with be the highlight for you. You don’t have to worry about printing out guides, or logging into the internet to get what you need. All you need to do is pull out your phone, or any other mobile device and get down to it. It’s twenty-eight minutes every day. (except Sundays). So, when you are in between a meeting, or dropping your child off at their extra-curricular activity, and anything else that pops up on your busy schedule; Take some time for yourself, get on the Sweat with Kayla App and get those limbs moving.
