World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King breaks records

I'm pretty sure you know at least one person who is a huge World of Warcraft fan, either that or you've got your own account where you pour more hours into it compared to nurturing your human relationships. Well, looks like this addictive game isn't going to lose its player base anytime soon with its second expansion, Wrath of the Lich King having moved a massive 2.8 million copies within its first 24 hours of availability - officially making it the fastest-selling PC game of all time. Needless to say, the previous record was held by Blizzard as well with the first expansion packs, selling nearly 2.4 million copies sold in 24 hours early last year with The Burning Crusade. That's nearly 25% of those who already have The Burning Crusade picking up this expansion - who's to say how many more percent picked up this title 48 hours later?

Yes that is a nice idea but have you ever thought of going up to the biggest guy on the subway and telling him your thoughts on this. I wonder what he might do, or would you even do it.
