Pure*Gold PC does not have souped up parts

Gold was originally one of the most stable currencies of choice, since it cannot be printed or created and is virtually indestructible. The metal itself has many desirable properties, and kings of yore have spent plenty of time amassing it for their treasuries. Fast forward to today where paper money (without gold backing) is king, and we have sub-par products like the Pure*Gold PC that gives you the illusion that you're rich thanks to an external gold-colored chassis. Underneath the hood, you will find the following :-

  • Intel Core 2 Duo processor
  • Kontron motherboard
  • nVidia 8600GT 512MB video card
  • 100GB SATA II hard drive
  • 4GB RAM
  • 7.1-channel high definition audio
  • Wi-Fi connectivity
  • 8x USB 2.0, 4x RS232C, 2x IEEE1394 (FireWire)

There is no word on its pricing as at press time.
