Most cell phones these days come with a sub-5 megapixel count in their digital camera, but Samsung intends to forge far ahead of the rest of the competition with its new Samsung Pixon, also known by its model number M8800. This candybar handset even beats Nokia's N95 that features a 5 megapixel sensor, boasting 8 megapixels worth of shooting goodness despite being crammed into a body that measures a mere 13.8mm in thickness. Other features of the Samsung Pixon include a 3.2" WQVGA full touch screen display, 16x digital zoom, MP3, AAC, e-AAC+ and WMA compatibility, an integrated FM radio, DNSe, Bluetooth connectivity, a microSD memory card slot at 200MB of internal memory. Expect to see the Pixon hit the French market first for a yet undisclosed price.
