The Medusa Hub is one interesting desktop peripheral that helps solve the problem of too many USB ports in a hub being packed close to each other. Each of the four USB 2.0 ports, a pair of FireWire 400 connectors, fan, and light are separated from each other by virtue of a tentacled arm, hence the name Medusa Hub. It is connected to a PC/Mac via USB 2.0/FireWire 400 and retails for $79.99 a pop. Good thing this Medusa Hub doesn't turn you into stone the moment you start slacking off at work.

That’s super cool! Once I took all the extra computer cables I had and I cut off the ends. There were lots of different shapes, sizes, and colors. So I wrapped them up like a bouquet and “planted” them in an extra vase we had for my wife. Yeah, geeks can be sorta sweet 😉
Anyways, it looked sort of like this thing, but wasn’t nearly as useful! Perhaps it’s time to “upgrade”!
Oh,this is nice. 🙂 It could even take the place of the flower vase beside my computer – it’s adorable.:P
