Sandria Di Diacinto is an alumni from the Accademia di Belle Arti of Roma, and has come out with her new fashion bag line of 2007 called the "Plissè Bag". She developed her motivation for her artistic bags from Japanese art and ancient Greece. The bags were made in Italy, but were made with recycled material, mainly newspaper. However each bag is handmade and only one of a kind, thus only sold to a small amount of stores. The recycled newspaper that she uses is called "ecoleather". As you can see in the picture above, the fabric does look like leather with an accordion style.
