Now that we're too addicted to our laptops, it's tough leaving them behind when we do things that require us to be around water. Long showers are a thing of the past, and tanning by the pool is not an option anymore. Spray tans are healthier, and take less time. I haven't heard of too many waterproof laptops, but apparently the Japanese are all over it. Yes, NEC has developed the ShieldPro waterproof laptop that can withstand water, cold, and even drops. Plastic Bamboo tells us that theis machine will be available next month for 300,000 Yen or $2,607 dollars. Toughbook, I think you got some competition.
