When did cell phone conversations stopped being private? I've noticed more and more people sharing their cell phone conversations with the whole world just about anywhere. Especially in very public places like the supermarket, airplanes, or shuttle bus. It's bothersome, and I'm glad someone else shares this sentiment. Textually spotted the full-length "cell atlantic" wearable phonebooth by NYU student Jenny Chowdhury who stitched it together as part of project that "prompts people to take stock in how cell phone technology has altered the ways in which we communicate with each other and the environment surrounding us".
The portable, and wearble phone booth can be carried around like a backpack, and when you need a little bit of privacy, it turns into a quiet haven for "chatty" folks.
