It is almost mandatory for just about anyone to own at least a couple of gadgets these days, but many of them tend to run out of juice during the most inconvenient of times, no thanks to Murphy and his blasted law. Enter the Power Purse, a fashionable tech item devised by engineering student Joe Hynek. It featuers solar panels at the side that absorbs energy from the sun's rays, converting those to electricity that allows you to keep your devices inside juiced up no matter where you are - as long as there is some light around, of course. It will take around two hours of full sunlight to charge a phone's battery, and probably more if you want to keep your PSP or DS Lite powered up. This highly fashionable eco handbag will retail for $295 a pop.
