Timepieces are always pretty interesting to look at, but then again the nicer ones are always extremely expensive, placing them out of reach for most ordinary Joes who find it hard enough to eke out a daily living. One good thing about concepts is the ability to play around with the various premises of a device without giving thought to the practical aspects of it, and I would save conceptually, this handsome looking Azimuth SP-1 Mechanique watch would not cost more than a couple of hundred dollars. This timepiece features a bold and futuristic styling that features a rendition of the earth as seen from space, rotating every minute. It boasts a jumping hour display that is powered by a Unitas 6497 movement. Any watch maker willing to take up this project and realize it?
