There is nothing quite as disappointing as a poor speaker system to make an engaging movie drab during viewing. Although having a home surround sound system will go a long way in replicating the cinematic experience, it still doesn't do films like Pearl Harbor or Lord of the Rings justice in your living room especially where the bone-chilling, earth-shattering feeling is concerned. The aptly named Shaker aims to correct this, bring tactile sound transducers which resemble a speaker. This device will create low frequency sounds that are passed into the body of the person sitting on a chair or couch it is attached to directly, duplicating the sensation of explosions, a torrent of bullets and even ground breaking special effects.
