Votives, tealights and other models are all great ideas for the LED candlelight set. If you have small children or just don't like the hassle or worry of having flame and wax together, invest in a few of these and still enjoy the ambient light that a candle flame gives, without the worry.
An on and off switch, batteries and tealight or votive design will give you the romantic glow you desire. I can't say they will invade your senses with scents but the light is the advantage. Flickering just like a candle, these LEDs are perfect for most situations. Safer than a candle and you can even leave them on "accidentallly" and not worry about your house burning down.
