America's Worst Idol

KevDid you watch American Idol last night? Oh, come on, you know you love it! One of my least-favorite competitors is 16-year old Kevin Corvais (sorry fans), who broke up with his girlfriend to appeal to his younger viewers. But this kid is going to have to do more than break up with his 15-year old girlfriend to stay in this competition. That's where Vote for the Worst comes in. These guys want to make sure that Kevin aka "Chicken Little" makes it all the way to the top, or at least the top five.

Wired interviewed the founder of Vote for the Worst to find out the site's intentions.  To make the show more amusing, they pick whoever they feel is the worst contestant, and then vote for them until they go home. This may explain why Kevin is still around. There you have it! So what happens after Kevin leaves? They will continue voting for Kelly, or pick the worst contestant just to piss you off.

Update: Kevin got voted off last night. Next worst idol on the list is: Bubbly Blond Kelly Pickler (because North Carolina won't want her back after this). Priceless!0)

From a vocal quality stand point Kevin wasn’t the worst that night(for me), that honor would probably go to Bucky. Lisa’s performance was boring and sort of corny. That being said overall Bucky and Lisa have both had a lot more good performances than Kevin. I personally feel that if we’re just talking about talent, Kevin should have been voted off a few shows ago (for me I don’t care about how nice or cute someone is, it’s a singing competition after all).

She’s right…it was time for Kevin to go. He’s a nice guy and all, but this is a SINGING competition. I can’t help but think the judges felt sorry for him, because they rarely ever gave him a bad comment.

Kellie’s an average singer and she’s got a great personality, but I’m thinking it’s going to be Bucky the one to go next.

Rocio, I don’t think my comment was that bad, lighten up girl.

Besides, it was time for Chicken Little to concentrate on school or something. The kid did have moxie, and that’s what I like about him. Too bad his time was up.
