Here is a peek at a fashion forward jacket design we could only hope to see in the not-so-distant future. Lunar Design developed the BLU jacket concept that integrates wireless technology and flexible displays to create a screen of ever-changing information and advertising. For those of us with a poor sense of direction, the jacket contains a built-in GPS system that would track your every move by displaying a street map on your sleeve. The closer you get to your destination, the bigger the map scales. It also lights up a path of your trek that becomes a reminder of where you've been as you approach where you're going. A more interesting approach to the design is the ability to become a walking billboard by renting out space on your jacket to retailers. Great alternative to earning extra money--as opposed to tattooing the back of your head.
