The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) is partnering with leaders in fashion and entertainment to introduce "Style and Sound", a fundraiser initiative for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer. This will be an online Auction to be held in conjunction with eBay Live Auctions. The event will feature custom iPod cases created by celebrity Partnerships like Jaime Foxx with Marc Ecko, Katie Holmes with Judith Leiber, Renee Zellweger with Carolina Herrera, and Misha Barton with Luca Orlandi.
Other highlights include Donna Karan's case, fashioned out of hammered brass, and features a playlist with music from 20 years of her fashion shows. Sean "P.Diddy" Combs will also create his own playlist. Vivienne Tam's case is brocade, trimmed in fur while Nannette Lepore's design features a bright beaded belted case. Each case will also contain a 40 GB iPod courtesy of Apple Computers and a playlist created by each designer's celeb parter.
The event will conclude at a gala fundraisers event hosted by Ecko and Herrera on June 22. You can bid via Internet at Ebay Live Auctions. All proceeds will benefit FTBC. Also keep a watchful eye for Ecko and Monster Cable Products at your local Apple Store, where they will introduce a one of a kind iPod case designed by Marc as part of "A case for a A cause". The light blue leather case features FTBC's signature bulls eye logo and will be packaged with literature on breast cancer awareness. The price for the case will be $29.99.
