A Card that Does it All

NFC Forum is currently advocating the use of contactless credit cards (Visa, MC), and mobile phones (Nokia and Motorola) embedded with smart chips that make it easy for consumers to spend their hard earned money with a simple wave at tap-n-go terminal, so a concept like this one from Plusminus may not be so far-fetched. Multifunctional Credit Cards will be able to combine a mobile phone, credit cards, and keys into one credit card sized device. Dima Komissarov plans to incorporate other great features to this all-in-one gadget such as video phone, GPS sytem, remote control, and even provide access to a remote computer. The device will require a fingerprint authorization for safety reasons, if the card needs to be used for payment or as a key.
