The Samsung Omnia handset is definitely a thing of beauty, and Asus has cast more than a single green eye on it. The boffins at Asus have since been working hard around the clock to come up with a device that could seriously threaten the Omnia's position, featuring a rather similar device including a generous touch screen display (WQVGA or WVGA resolution), a 5 megapixel camera to capture super sharp stills as well as video recording capability, a trackball for moments where non-touch navigation is required, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity to help you remain hooked up with the rest of the virtual world no matter where you are. No idea on other specifications of this device at this point in time, but it is pretty high up there where specifications are concerned, so don't expect the final device to be cheap.
