I love a cool gadget and even a shirt can tickle my gadget fancy. This Wi-Fi Detector Shirt has me wanting to spend $29.99 x 3. I have several friends and family members that would enjoy such a fun idea.
ThinkGeek is selling a glowing, animated shirt that displays the signal strength of any nearby Wi-Fi connections. Both 802.11b and 802.11g signals will trigger the shirt to dynamically display the connections via bars that are placed around the design.
The batteries are of course safely stowed away in an invisible pocket and you can wash the shirt by removing the display area (via hook and eye connections) before throwing it in. I love that some people just might not "get" what the shirt is
about...and others would immediately know, which tags them as geeks.
