The Soft Hub USB 2.0 is different from the rest of the generic looking hubs available on the market, featuring a spiky green rubber ball as its body. Measuring three inches in diameter, the Soft Hub USB 2.0 comes with one upstream USB port and a trio of downstream ports. The design targets a more youthful market, and will definitely look out of place in a serious business environment. I suppose those with an artistic flair will take to it like a duck to water, while those tight lipped suits in the upper echelon of management prefer to just settle for boring, square designs that have plagued the computer hardware industry for way too long.
Compatible with both PC and Mac platforms, the Soft Hub USB 2.0 retails for $24 and is currently on back order. Too bad the only available color is green, as I am sure a wider range of colors would definitely push even more sales.
