The Caterpillar brand is often associated with something rugged and tough, just like the machines they produce when it comes to construction work worldwide. Design student Nicolas Lehotzky have come up with creative watches that embody the spirit of brands such as Caterpillar, Brembo and SRAM. As for the Caterpillar watch concept you see above, it retains the imagery of a bulldozer track and extends it into a faceless watch, where the fabric belt contains hour numbers on it. This fabric belt will then slowly rotate around the whole wrist, where the current hour is depicted by a raised platform. Pretty much an interesting concept, although I don't think it will ever see the light of day since most people are comfortable with just analog or digital faces to tell the time without having to bust their brains.
