NEC VersaPro UltraLite Type VC lasts the distance

The NEC VersaPro UltraLite Type VC is one notebook computer that will definitely be a favorite with folks who hold a long lasting battery life in high regard. This 12" notebook is capable of running up to 14.5 hours (under the right conditions, of course) before requiring a trip to the nearby power outlet. This is made possible by throwing in the ultra-low voltage Intel 1.2GHz Core 2 Duo processor, a well-engineered battert, and a power saving mode. The VersaPro UltraLite Type VC weighs just 958 grams and measures slightly more than 1" in thickness, encased within a semi-rugged outer casing. No idea on how much this puppy costs, but it is now available in Japan. If you're a frequent long haul flyer, this could be just the notebook for you.
