Bang & Olufsen are extremely famous for their well designed audio equipment, but there are some people who claim that the designs are not accompanied by audio quality that is on par. The Earset 2 is the latest Bluetooth headset from the Danish company, featuring Bluetooth connectivity and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) noise cancellation technology for superior sound quality. The Earset 2 is said to weigh a mere 22g, but the talk time of four hours is disappointing as other headsets in the market offer way more talk time.
Bang & Olufsen claims that the Earset 2 features exceptional transmission quality thanks to its two omni-directional microphones that were designed to suppress and filter background noise to provide users one the other end with the best voice transmission possible. In addition, there is a miniature loudspeaker inside the Earset 2 which is supported by air vents and a bass port for superior tonal precision. I suppose all those fancy stuff do work as claimed, but $420 to pay for a Bluetooth headset is just plain ridiculous.
