Orlando, Florida is host of the International Builder's Show, where GE is showing off a concept Kitchen of the Future. The kitchen suite communicates with all kitchen appliances using a predictive computing system, and has interactive controls for simple navigation. It also has a full-width display with touch sensors across the entire surface. The refrigerator would be able to take inventory of all the food, present you with menu options, and even create a shopping list. A cooking guide would even walk you through new cooking techniques or meal preparation. Not sure what items you need for your big dinner party? Pick up the phone and call your kitchen who will tell you what items to add to your grocery list.
