Vertu is set to release a very expensive handset that will feature tiny diamonds, a keypad with eight carat's worth of diamonds housed in a body of white gold (or platinum), under pinned with ruby bearings and furnished with the same ceramic material that was initially manufactured for the space shuttle. The phone will set you back 88,300, and doesn't even have a camera (how dare they?). Vertu is producing 200 phones that will only be sold in jewelry stores, or department stores such as Harrods. Celebrities like Brad Pitt, Gweneth Paltrow and David Beckham own a Vertu phone according to this article, and so does the Royal Saudi Family. [Source: Luxist] (Sorry, could not find actual picture)
