Designer Duck Young Kong created Aimo, a device that allows a parents to begin forming an emotional bond with their child while still in the womb. The device allows the mother to produce and capture songrams of her baby with a built-in-digital ultrasonic camera. She simply places Aimo on her belly to capture images of her baby, and a sound reciever allows her to also hear her child's heartbeat. An LCD screen represents the baby's heartbeat with abstract images and icons dependent on the condition of the mother and child. A USB adapter allows quick image download.
