The market for solar handbags is apparently red hot! Could this be the next big thing? This particular handbag, was developed by a student at Brunel University. The Sun Trap handbag is powered with solar energy using a solar cell attached to the outside of the bag. The trapped energy is then stored in an internal battery which lights up the lining of the purse making it easy to search for your cell or keys at night. How annoying would this be at a movie theater though? Just imagine digging through your bag to pull out your candy bars, cheesy popcorn bag, or diet soda, just to alert everyone that you have brought in your own contraband snacks.
