Solar Power is the new black in gadgetry. The "Power Purse" developed by Joe Hynedk as a design class project, combines form and function. The purse is layered with flexible solar cells in order to recharge electronic devices. Joe took away second place in a design competition in April. He plans to look into ways to make solar-cell powered prodcts that can be laundered. Via Treehugger
