Tech Takes on Fashion Week

Just in case you missed all the excitement of Fashion Week, PCMagazine Online has a great article on the event titled "Tech Takes on Fashion Week". Jenifer from PCMag.com sent us this excerpt:

Technology products strutted on the catwalks in New York during the annual Fashion Week. Some tech vendors used the events as a venue to show off new consumer products, while some designers presented new techno-fashion accessories. To highlight the recent launch of its PSP (PlayStation Portable), Sony Computer Entertainment America took center stage and collaborated with designers from around the world (the likes of Fendi, Pucci, Burberry and more) to host the Pret-a-PSP accessories show. Among the accessories custom-designed for Sony's portable gaming and entertainment device, Gwen Stefani (for L.A.M.B.) unveiled a gold embossed case with antique brass hardware, Christian Louboutin offered a leather leg holster, and Lulu Guinness went glam with a glitter Perspex clutch carrier, according to a recent news release. "From product engineering to color and design, consumer electronics are now personalized and incorporated into wardrobe and style considerations, revealing as much about consumer preferences and personality as wardrobes," said Mike Fasulo, chief marketing officer for Sony Electronics, in a statement.  (Read More)
