HotSpot Bloom is a wearable flower that glows and changes color to indicate the signal strength of a nearby wireless network. Not only does it camouflage in the form of a fashionable, and wearable flower, but it also allows you to identify hotspots! HotSpot Bloom glows based on a hot to cold scale, red being a strong wi-fi signal and blue being a low signal. The artist is Karen Lee, a media artist investigating the convergence of wearable computing and wireless technologies. We will have to keep an eye out for more of her wearable inventions. It does not look like HotSpot Bloom is available for sale just yet, but keep checking this site for more details.
