Illumination in your sink? Yes, but this time it’s in your faucet. The Light Delight system by Equa System changes colors according to the temperature of the water. A light inside the flow area will change as the source temperature varies. Made of AISI 304 stainless steel, this setup will modernize your home in a flash.
The designers outline the advantages of having a stainless steel faucet (the site is done by Italians and I’m doing my best to translate their outlined advantages here):
- They last forever and have a 50 year estimated span (except the cartrige)
- They are completely free of lead or copper
- Free from impurities due to the steel used
- Not affected by atmospheric corrosion or salt
- Stainless steel taps are polished and not chromium-plated; all exfoliation and wear problems can be avoided
- No toxic materials used like acid or chromium in the making of the faucets
- Stainless steel can be recycled easier
- Due to the faucets being die-cast, they can design all model types such as brass or other ideas
