Lorex Technology has rolled out its LNE3003 network IP surveillance camera which allows you to view whatever it is looking at, as long as you have an Internet connection. This does not mean you're limited to just your computer, as you can also rely on a 3G-enabled cell phone or the iPod touch to take a peek at all the action. Video is transmitted in VGA resolution (640 x 480 pixels) at 30 frames per second, having compressed to MPEG4 format that makes it a snap for viewing from mobile devices. You have a wide array of choices to plug the camera into - a router, or connect via 802.11b/g WiFi, with a maximum wireless range of 250 feet in open space. You can even choose to have the LNE3003 email you whenever a motion is detected, with a JPEG attachment as proof. I wonder whether this is good for ghost hunting.
