You can control the treble, bass and volume via the remote in both designs. The mStation Orb-W comes in two colors but is also expanding colors with the new iPod release, according to the new release email I received.
The Tower offers mid-range tweeters up high in rotatable posts and a subwoofer that's dedicated and downward firing located in the center cylinder. They claim the dedicated subwoofer is what makes this sound better than most systems.
