What did I love the most about Japan? The vending machines. They are very impersonal, yes, but I am a DIY kinda girl with little patience. I actually wish we had more vending machines here in the States. Not long ago, the San Francisco Airport installed a vending machine that dispenses iPods. So what kind of vending marvels are popping up in Japan? Well I love the Fried Food vending Machine that dispenses french fries, and hot dogs. Also the mobile phone recharging station is convenient when you are like me, who forgets to recharge your phone all the time. There is a vending machine for everything in Japan including toilet paper, fresh eggs, dry ice and even frequent flyer miles. Photoman has a really interesting collection on his site.
