Live 8 was so fantastic, there are no words to describe the incredible act that we witnessed on Saturday. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the Pink Floyd reunion (got a bit nostalgic after two glasses of wine). I'm so glad I TiVO'd it so I can play it over and over again. I wanted to find out what I missed since the MTV/VH1 coverage was very lame, so I turned to the only site with the latest and greatest news coverage the Project DU site, and one of my favorite Bloggers David Gutowski from LargeHearted Boy who is PDU's Music Editor, wrote a little report about Live 8, here is what he had to say:
This weekend's Live 8 concerts were a media spectacle on every front. Live concerts at worldwide venues raised awareness for world poverty via television, radio and the internet. Most surprising was the event's online presence, aided by AOL's audio and video streams, Technorati's Live 8 aggregation efforts, online news organizations, and of course, bloggers. Technorati even offered 50 backstage passes to bloggers, as well as the opportunity to fly 5 bloggers to the G8 meeting on Richard Branson's jet. Read Article
