Ways to Drive Traffic to a Website:

There are of course many ways to drive traffic to a website, but today I’m going to keep it a little bit simple and talk to you about some of the most important ones.

The first one I want to bring to your attention is actually a series of tools that are quickly finding their way to becoming some of the top social media tools for marketing. These are a suite of tools that can be used independently or together, although in most cases you’re going to want to use more or all of them. Each one has a slightly different flavor but all of them can help you use social media (and in some cases email) more effectively in your never-ending quest for more internet traffic. Have you heard of this Tecademics review which shows another course to help?

The second one is the tried-and-true PPC or pay per click. This one has been around since the earlier days of the web, but can in many cases prove to be effective. You need to really research exactly what kind of traffic you want to generate as this method depends quite a bit on that.

Then, we also have simply paying search engines and social media sites to generate traffic. This is another one that depends on the nature of what you are trying to promote and the type of traffic you want. I know people, for example, with brick and mortar businesses who swear by this method of getting interested customers; they have told me on more than one occasion that this is their most cost effective form of advertising.

Finally, I want to bring to your attention search engine optimization, or SEO. This is sometimes overlooked and underestimated by people, but it can be really important! The business benefits of SEO can be absolutely huge if it’s done properly.

SEO back in the day was often something that consisted of setting things up to exploit the search engines to unfairly increase ranking, and was unfairly taken advantage of by a few savvy customers. But these days, it’s more of an art form where the website is tailored to the search engines’ “needs” in a much more subtle way.

So that’s my little blurb on getting people to your website in 2016. There’s nothing worse than a website with no traffic. So you owe it to yourself to get on it. You owe it to your website. Hope these tips help.
