The model of the future is looking a little stiff these days, but that didn't stop HRP-4C from making her debut in Japan's Fashion Week. "She is perhaps the first humanoid to walk on two feet and resemble the average body type of a young Japanese woman", says Shuji Kajita, Director of Humanoid Robot Engineering at the Advanced Industrial Science and Technology. The black-haired modelbot has 30 motors in her body so she can move arms and legs, eight motors in her face to make expressions, and she can strike a mean pose. Check out the video to see her debut.
